New Smartphone

I bought a new smartphone and installed the bitcoin.com wallet.
A new wallet was created. But I just wanted my old one with the whole bitcoins on it.
What was my mistake?
How can I move the wallet from my old phone to the new one?

As long as you have written down your 12 word seed phrase which was shown when you first opened the Bitcoin.com Wallet app you will be able to restore your wallet using that.

Please note that you will need to do this for each sub-wallet inside your Bitcoin.com wallet if there is more than one (i.e. if you have one or more Bitcoin sub-wallets, and Bitcoin Cash sub-wallets).

When you re-download the Bitcoin.com wallet simply use the import function; enter your 12 word seed phrase and import your wallet from the 'Import' screen.

Please also note that when entering your seed phrase all words must be lowercase with a single space between them, and no space after the final word.
