transaction not showing up in electrum history

I sent funds from my blockchain wallet to electrum and the transaction is not showing up at all in my electrum history. I double and triple check to make sure I used a proper address given to me by electrum and it was fine. To test to make sure my electrum is working fine I just now sent a small amount to electrum and it showed up fine in history. Any ideas as to what happened to the previous transaction?? Thank you

Edit: Transaction got dropped and funds put back in blockchain wallet. Never did show up in electrum...not sure what happened.
