I am a Nevada resident and have been unable to purchase a Bitcoin. I would like to know why It seems merely impossible for a Nevada resident to get one from . Other states are unable to purchase Bitcoins while California and New York clearly, take Bitcoin. Why is this the case and how soon will I be able to purchase a Bitcoin within the state of Nevada and with a Nevada ID?

This sounds like a matter you would be best to bring up with your state governor or whoever else would be the relevant authorities.

Being Nevada maybe the casinos are scarred of loosing business to the bitcoin gambling world and have so far been successful in having restrictions put on it.

It's very difficult to buy in NY as well due to bitlicense. Exchanges that deal with NY residents need a $10,000 license to do it legally.

Well have you looked at localbitcoins?

if you are trading P2P there isn't really a way for the government to attempt to control it, especially if you are dealing with cash. Localbitcoins or paxful(paxful is slightly dodgier and localbitcoins has a more solid reputation) will find you the right seller.

There is no risk because you are doing transactions through their escrow system, not directly with the seller.
