Error Code when im trying to open BITCOIN

This is what i keep getting everytime i open bitcoin i by accident downloaded it twice and installed it twice. But have unistalled one and reinstalled it. this is what i keep getting
Cannot obtain a lock on data directory C:/users/Arek/appdata/roaming/bitcoin. Bitcoin Core is probably already running.

you have to delete the files with something like REVO uninstaller when this happens
i have found BitcoinUnlimited full client more stable than core
i havent had this error since i switched ....

When your OS is unable to gain a lock on a directory, it means it cannot reserve that space for changes it is going to make, because another application has already reserved it. That means another program is already using it. Have you tried restarting the computer?

If not, your best bet would to be manually deleting the bitcoin folder in your Roaming directory, so your application can regenerate the folder.

If you don't have any bitcoin in the wallets you installed then you might be better off just deleting them both and starting again.

Yeah if you have no use for the actual wallets (No BTC in them or whatever) I'd just delete everything and try again, if the same problem occurs there's something else, as I have not experienced the same issue I'm not sure what it could be. Did you try googling it?
