Accidentally sent BCH to BTC

Hi,

I accidentally sent BCH to BTC to create a balance on a website in order to pay for goods. The currency left my wallet but has not shown up anywhere on my account on the website. Does anyone know if there is any way to recover the funds?

Sorry to hear that. Please contact that website and let them know that you've sent BCH to a BTC payment address.

In the mean time you can keep an eye on your BCH here: https://explorer.bitcoin.com/bch (search the BTC address you sent to)

The owners of the addresses might (it's up to them) might be able to recover the BCH. The private keys are the same for both chains. You've sent BCH to a BCH addresses which is identical to the BTC payment address.
