Bitcoin is an irreversible payment system by design so it is not possible to reverse or cancel a sent transaction.
However, the keys are the same on both chains (BCH and BTC). If they (the website/company) have the BTC private key they can import, or sweep, that key into a wallet which supports Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
Keep in mind that they may have a number of very legitimate reasons (e.g., security concerns, or maybe their method of storing coins) for not attempting recovery of the coins.
