Hi, I'm not sure how much help I'll really be but I've been using my ledger nano s with Ledger Live. Before that I was using it with myetherwallet and sometime the chrome extension.

Has it been a while since you sent Bitcoin Cash from your ledger? I had to update the firmware a few months back otherwise it would get stuck on updating. At any rate, what does the error say?

u probably already solved your problem but if not try to delete BCH wallet from ledger live and then install again !
