I'm pretty sure we all saw this coming with the recent BitPay news, but Jeff just confirmed it on his blog post Onwards and Upwards, which you can read here: http://garzikrants.blogspot.com/2015/10 ... wards.html

Jeff is transitioning to an advisory role on the board at BitPay. My hats off to BitPay, and of course Jeff, whose contributions to bitcoin are unmeasurable.

Anyway: Thanks Bitpay for helping the community for such a long time. Jeff will stay a solid dev and Bitpay will keep going with a smaller team.
