Blockchain.org wallet supporting Bitcoin Cash (BCC)

Does anyone have any info on Blockchain.org wallet's plans for supporting (or not supporting) Bitcoin Cash?

It has been one of my favorite wallets for years -- and their new version is so much better. I just wish I could use it with BCC.

Do you mean blockchain.info? If so it doesn't matter which fork you support. You control your private key with their wallet so you will have coins on both sides.

A lot of it is open source -- wonder if there would be a way to clone it.

If you are referring to blockchain.info, I believe they stated it that they will only be supporting BTC and whoever wants BCC should move their cash out. I am not sure if they still give users access to their private keys anyway as they probably stopped that a long time ago. So it is possible since you haven't moved your funds out of there, you may be stucked with only BTC now.

Right, but for the average person it might be troublesome to extract his BCH if the wallet he uses does not support it yet. And we want crypto to be friendly to the average Joe and wallets should makes these transitions very simple to understand and work with.

I think that is possible to use another Wallet for BBC cash.
