I am sorry to hear about your situation but you have to realise that Bitcoin.com do not own or control the bitcoin network, we are just one domain name used to promote Bitcoin.I sold Bitcoin from my bitcoin wallet and it hasn't been released for the past 5 days now.. Still in pending.. And with that I can't get my money from the buyer and I couldn't even reverse the transaction.. This is bull shit to bitcoin.com
Thanks.c49299d9ae9095d0582f4a4d5d3794d52995f264aa1671f2a298cd82e6060c9c
Actually the code changed recently so transactions stuck in the mempool don't expire for two weeks. So low fee paying transactions will be stuck in limbo longer.Thanks.c49299d9ae9095d0582f4a4d5d3794d52995f264aa1671f2a298cd82e6060c9c
This transaction is already 3 days old so I believe that this will drop off the network within the next few hours. A transaction will normally drop off the network if it doesn't receive any confirmations in the first 72 hours since being broadcast.
The reason this won't be confirmed is because the fee is way too low, only 98.655 sat/B. If you check https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ you will see that the optimal fee for a transaction to make it into the next couple of blocks is 330 satoshis/byte.
I would recommend that you keep an eye on your wallet and stop it re-broadcasting the same transaction, add a higher fee next time and you won't have this problem.
Ah okay, that would explain the sudden leap in transactions stuck for up to 2 weeks.Actually the code changed recently so transactions stuck in the mempool don't expire for two weeks. It is stupid and the Core central planners didn't have the foresight to realize that increased expiry times would lead to huge back logs https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/pull/9312Ah okay, that would explain the sudden leap in transactions stuck for up to 2 weeks.Actually the code changed recently so transactions stuck in the mempool don't expire for two weeks. Why was this change made, seems strange to me to have transactions stuck for 2 weeks instead of the old 72hrs. Any link?
