What are fungible tokens?

Fri May 07, 2021 12:59 pm

Fungible tokens are completely interchangeable with each other. The most notable example of fungible assets refers to fiat currencies. You can transfer fungible assets from one owner to another to make payments for certain things.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are the most prominent uses of blockchain technology, and they're examples of fungible tokens.
