What sub-forums would you like to see?

As we've stated before - we intend to keep this a community-governed forum that allows a wide variety of opinions and topics.

To be able to do this, we rely on your feedback and ideas. If there are any forum sections that you feel is missing, descriptions of existing forums a bit too narrow or not specific enough - let us know by adding your input to this thread.

Somewhere for Bitcoin peer to peer lending sites! BTCjam in particular is severely lacking in a forum so it would be good to have a default place to discuss all the issues around those.

I think "Alternative Clients" should be renamed "Wallet Software" and moved to top level category.

Hello new Bitcoin forum,

a forum here on bitcoin.com is a great idea, thank you so much for setting this up.

I'd like to suggest not to create to many sub-forums right now, but rather let the forum grow with the discussions and activities that are happening. The admins and mods will see when there's the need to create new sub-forums. I ran a few forums and that was usually a good approach. It's especially for new visitors not very attractive to see lots sub-forum where there's not so much happening. Of course the intention is to create those forums now to inspire users to post, I'd just like to say that for online communities it's nice to start small and cozy and let the forum structure grow out of the community.

A very prominent new users/ask all your basic Bitcoin questions here forum would be a good idea IMO.

It would be awesome to have a built in system where everyone on the forum is entitled to a bitcoin address, and people are able to 'tip' one another for valid / constructive replies & topics

My brother and I post regularly in altcoin-related threads on bitcointalk.org, but only because it is the place those coins use to coordinate their communities. A lot of altcoins consolidate their entire communities into huge, 1000-page threads that generate a lot of activity and discussion.

It would be great to have a place here where such threads can be posted, so that I no longer have to visit theymos's properties at all.
