Re: Is this true - Bitcoin market price - February 7 2017 - $1839.63

hmmm... I'm starting to believe (reluctantly) that the value may not be accurate. Looking at my bitcoin I don't see values which match.. not even close.

What is happening?

Re: This forum Roger?

Have you guys seen StackOverflow's system? They have a Bitcoin section that I used to be relatively active in. Boy do you get good, high quality responses there. Not only do they have that super-strict voting policy, but their community is small and extremely knowledgeable. I'd urge you all to just...

Re: I have Paid-Off (Free & Clear house) I want to borrow 35BTC

I have a small house in Beavercreek Ohio, which is a affluent suburb of Dayton Ohio. ... I know what you mean... I've owned houses and didn't have a traditional job... so traditional loans are typically not an option. Anyways.. (1) What's the address? (2) What's the city or county appraisal value o...

Re: How to effectively respond when strangers acquaintances coworkers or any unaware person wants to know what Bitcoin i

I apologize mistakes in grammar, syntax and sentence structure. I also often skip a few words (unintentionally) when writing (especially long stuff like this - over 1500 words). I try to clean things up the best I can before publishing. However, with other work, family, sleep and all sometimes I can...

Ok, thx guys... Too bad things like this exist. I don't know if I entirely agree with you (although I'm sorry if you lost any bitcoin over this). Someone wrote some code which swaps out copy & paste bitcoin address with their own bitcoin address. Seems like relatively simple code. You could write t...

Re: something very wrong (bitcoinwallet.com)

I wholeheartedly agree with Fremont's post . I first learned of what are sometimes referred to as " bitcoin grabbers " about a year and a half ago. You can search youtube for that term to see a number of examples. Sometimes they are advertised as just what they are - a program that thieves can modif...

Re: We've created a new Bitcoin Crowd Funding website - BitGrants.com

It doesn't rest my concern at all, it massively heightens it. Sorry, but your head IT developer is dangerously inept and unqualified. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should a raw password EVER be accessible to you , password-protected or not. They should be hashed with a unique salt. Honestly, this is secur...
