Re: Hahaha Roger ver and the CEO of OKcoin having a Heated disscussion!

I used to work for the richest man in Australia (The late Kerry Packer), one conversation he had with me was that he has been so successful because everyone knows that his handshake or word is as good as a contract. That to be successful people need to know that you don't go back on your word. Mr P...

Re: Bitcoinist - Apple Pay Statistics Are Far From Promising – Bitcoin Is A Global Alternative

Apple pay is a joke and the biggest waste of the company's energy.

It is very, very difficult to try to change the world with a new payment technology. Bitcoin already did that, surprised Apple couldn't come up with a similar approach.

Many Bitcoin community members are trying to boost adoption throughout the world. Re: TheMerkle - Can Bitcoin Benefit From BlackBerry’s Mobile Payment Success In Nigeria?

Nigeria is one of those countries that seems to be getting a lot of attention from FinTech companies, simply because there are very little financial services present to speak of in the country. While various Bitcoin companies are trying to gain a foothold in the market, BlackBerry will be bringing ...

Localbitcoins.com is your best bet to buy quickly and they offer a ton of funding options.

For the best recourse in-case something goes wrong, buy your bitcoin from a LB seller that is in your municipality!

Re: Nexus -- Developing Quantum Security and improved decentralized trust mechanisms for Bitcoin community

Interesting. Is this open source? The latest github commit is 4 month old. Thanks for asking. The initial reason behind keeping the code closed source for so long was to prevent scam coins from popping up using our codebase. We are still wary of these shitcoin developers and don't want to give them...

Re: Bitcoinist - Bitstamp To Be Banned By Theymos For Supporting BIP 101

Bitstamp changing their client from Bitcoin Core to Bitcoin XT makes absolutely no difference. Only bitcoin miners can vote for BIP 101. The mining pools have made it very clear with their coinbase votes that they do not care for BIP 101 at all. Out of the last 1000 blocks mined only one was found ...

In a perfect world, "No-Ego Bitcoin" aha ;) Well, that is how it should be. If we let ego and emotion get in the way of civilised debate and figuring out what is best for the Bitcoin protocol, we're unlikely to actually get anywhere. Agreed, setting a good example is key. This thread is going to be unbiased. It's going to talk about both sides of the coin, and it won't mention my personal beliefs on what client (Core/XT) we should support. The problem that stops discourse from happening in the Bitcoin community isn't actually the fact that there are separate clients...

Blockchain.info with a good password is good. As is rushwallet.

If you have a lot probably the best is a hardware wallet or a paper wallet, though.
Blockchain is really good for beginners as it's easy to setup, access and you can D/L a paper copy of your wallet!

Your English is just fine! The overall security of the bitcoin system is created in the mining process. Re: Best Encryption software for Linux?

Yes, you can encrypt the whole device. If you are really interested in securing your data, create 20 keys to access the encrypted volume. This means that when you go to unlock the data, you are required to import 20 keys to unlock. Unbreakable! ALWAYS make sure to backup the headers 2 to 3x or else ...
