I mean, I guess my biggest problem with his entire post, who cares either way?

If you are paying out extra BTC as an incentive to mine, thanks.

If you are buying hashrate and redistributing the mined funds to your miners, also thanks.

Recently I was invited to a Telegram group with a bunch of miners in Venezuela who were mostly interested in switching to the Bitcoin.com pool and Bitcoin Unlimited.

One of them was a staunch Core supporter though.

I was explaining to them how the Bitcoin.com pool currently pays several percent ...
