Re: I’m Kristov Atlas, Co-Founder of the OBPP. Ask me anything!

Hrm, interesting. As a privacy advocate my self, I recognize the value of privacy, but have struggled to define and justify it. Fungibility seems to me a a pretty powerful argument, but you have a point that evidence for what happens to a currency when its fungibility is broken is not easy to find. ...

Re: I’m Kristov Atlas, Co-Founder of the OBPP. Ask me anything!

Re: Privacy.Bitcoin.com is coming soon!

We have made very big progress in implementing BIP47 payment codes (stealth addresses for SPV/mobile) and you will all be seeing them in an upcoming version of Samourai Wallet. All of the building blocks are in place and now we just have to fit them together in an easy-to-use UI and work them into ...

Re: Privacy.Bitcoin.com is coming soon!

What ever happened to stealth addresses? It seems all we need is a mobile wallet that implements it and we'll have a great tool make public keys private. Long story short, from my non technical understanding, it is some cryptographic machination of the public key, such that when you send btc to the ...

Re: Bitcoin.com now has a Canary Warrant page!

I was thinking about this recently, since a dev from one of the communities I hang around vanished without warning and we know nothing about him or how to contact him, scary stuff. While the above is a good start, the problem of course is that this whole approach is centralized. If you got a gag ord...
