Re: I'm Hhampuz. Professional money burner, bad investor AMA

Hey Hhampuz,

I'm curious, in the short time that you have been collecting coins, what is the most profit you managed to flip from trading physical coins? (if you've done any selling)

Re: Bitcoin Blooms with Chinese Buyers as Yuan Sinks

Looks like it has popped the $700 mark comfortably now - I wonder if there will be a big or small correction, or it might just keep creeping up. The Chinese authorities must be relatively lenient on bitcoin trades right now if Chinese money is leaking into bitcoin.

Re: I feel like this may be the future of finance - without banks

I thought there were quite a few crypto currency exchanges with phone apps? Unless it incorporates services like Apple Pay, Paypal, Visa, Mastercard transactions it is hard to say it's revolutionary

Re: 1.7 BTC loan

You are unlikely to get a random stranger who will send you over $1,000 with a 20 day repayment time. I think people usually offer some sort of collateral in these situations, because it is too easy for the loan recipient to vanish.

What sort of price were you looking to get for it? Do you have any photo with the "Buyer Funded" text as I thought these were all DIY coins

Re: Bitcoin.com is hiring!

Would this be free work or paid? What sort of hours do you need for someone to put in? I'd love to work for such a big name as Bitcoin.com and fulfil all but one of the requirements, but time is always limited with other commitments

What would be the difference between the fund you have just launched and the one that the Winklevoss brothers will launch? Scale? The exchange? Is it a full ETF or some sort of hybrid?

Re: China to Play a ‘Leading Role’ in Bitcoin’s Future

How are you supposed to be the pioneers at anything when you're never quite sure that you have all the information? When they stop the great firewall of China, then something interesting might happen, but I don't think the elite in charge will ever let that go. Decentralised money works against the ...

Re: Bitcoin Trading Signals

How profitable have you been over the last year and over the last 5 years? You should keep in mind that not everyone is interested in using Facebook, so it may help to move your content to a more bitcoin orientated community (like this one!) Could you give some tips or strategy thoughts here instead...

Re: [2016-10-23] Bitcoin Surges as Chinese Miner Conference Concludes

It's nice to see the Chinese miners have so much freedom and ability to operate, with most of the censorship restrictions in China they are allowed to push the boundaries even if it is for monetary gain. I'd be wary of associating the price rise with any one event however, as it may be seeing a grad...

Re: New Crypto Community

I think bitcointalk and these bitcoin.com forums already provide everything needed for a cryptocurrency community. You also have sites like litecointalk and others focused on different altcoins. ".org" is a risky domain to go with these days, as they have gotten stricter on people who misuse the dom...

Thanks for your interest, I could do a 5% discount if you take 2 coins and a 10% discount if you take 3.

Re: Brexit Referendum & the British Pound

The pound has taken a beating already and was trading at under one Euro at airports recently. The uncertainty is killing it and it could go further down if a deal with the EU goes sideways. It doesn't help that Scotland has now said they're having a second referendum

Re: Bitfinex's message to the individual responsible for the Bitfinex security incident

Did that come through to you in an email or is there another verifiable source? It looks very desperate and it's a bit of a joke to offer a massive bug bounty when the attacker holds all the cards. I guess it would give the offending party a chance to come clean and give the funds back to users

[WTS] Ravenbit, Crypto Imperator, Shibanu Coins

Hi everyone, I'm new around here and have been an avid collector at a similar bitcoin community, it is always nice to see a new place to sell. These coins are excess inventory that was mostly bought direct from the manufacturer, now is your opportunity to pick up a bargain. I have linked to some des...
