If hasing power decreases when the block reward decreases, then the difficulty will be reduced until blocks can once again be mined at a ten minute interval.

I notice that ZCash has some funding from DARPA and the AFRL. Could you comment on what their motivation might be to do that? What is it about ZCash that appeals to those organisations?

Also, perhaps I didn't express the last part clearly - I will consider offers less than my break-even price but those offers will have to be for bitcoin.

It is imperative to save Electrum's wallet seed - however... It's *not* a good idea to save it as a plain text file. Instead of that, you could very carefully and neatly write out the seed by hand (or print it if you trust your printer ...

I made a very crude attempt at making this program work on a regular computer... I'm pretty sure what I did requires a big-endian cpu to produce correct output - but it was an interesting learning experience.
