private key was generated with bitaddress.org in 2013, so whatever bitaddress was doing then for paper wallets. Don't have the wallets with me atm, sorry
So last march I imported several hundred BCH from an old paper wallet without any issues with the bitcoin.com app. Recently tried doing the same thing on the last bit of my BCH still on those paper wallets, when importing and after decrypting I received the error:
I'm now attempting to send BCH from the Bitcoin.com wallet to Bitpay's wallet.
The bitcoin.com wallet is saying the cash address bitpay is generating is invalid after it attempts to calculate the fee. Both wallets are latest release. https://i.imgur.com/cmIDmqL.jpg

Specifically I'm at the point where I'm trying to complete an ORDER for the card using bitcoin cash. Don't know if that matters or not but there it is.

trying to order the bitpay card for BCH. Bitpay says the bitcoin.com wallet is compatible but when I try to pay the fee neither the desktop wallet or the android wallet know what to do with the payment string.
