Thanks for your answer.
I am tech savy enough to do a workaround but I do a lot of explanation sessions with people who want to get their feet wet with crypto.
I always create paper wallets wirh them because it gives good feeling for the basics and people usually dont want to invest in HW wallets ...

The problem is not with starting with a K or L but with the fact that the QR code puts the name of coin in front of the privatekey, like this
Bitcoincash:KxyvyQetc.... The scanner of the wallet does not strip it and hence gives an error

Importing a private key from a paper wallet

So I finally managed to import a private key on the Bitcoin.com wallet by using the scan option on the bottom menu directly.
The thing is that paper wallet generators like cashaddress.org put a prefix in the QR code. cashaddress uses Bitcoincash:KxyvyQ etc..
That's not very handy, I basically need ...
