Bitcoin Cash from before the fork

I had bitcoin in my Bitcoin.com wallet before the fork. How do I access the Bitcoin Cash (BCH)?

As per the title of my post, the error is: Could not import: Wallet recovery phrase is invalid

The wallet I used originally was from Bitcoin.com and so is the wallet I am using now.

I am unable to access my wallet and my bitcoins at all.

I created my wallet on my mac several months ago and saved the seed words. I did a test import at the time onto my phone and it worked. I have since deleted both the mac and the phone, assuming the seed words would work on any new phone or ...
