If you're used to Bitcoin Core, you can simply install Bitcoin ABC, which works almost the same except that it's for Bitcoin Cash.
Do not run both simultaneously and ensure you make them use separate data directories.
Unless something changed since August, Bitcoin ABC can directly read Bitcoin ...
