Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

.
Hi mining friends, what do you think, should I get the reward or maintain the lifetime mining contract? :?:

With the current daily production and coin price, you'll need more than 600 days to get by mining the same coins amount as they offer you to buy back the contract. Considering the ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Why has no one asked the main question at hand? If all you truly own these lifetime contracts, and they are going to pause now till April..... Why no drop in hash on either pool?

If said machines are coming offline... Let's see it. Unless, you are saying you sold contracts on another pool. If ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Most of our hash rate is in the USA but the Chinese government banning Bitcoin mining clearly is an example of force majeure. Lifetime contracts were allocated to China.
It was - and still is - clearly stated that the datacenter is located in North America. That is an essential part of the ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

So for them to attempt such a move as this Pause Notice, there must either (i) be dire liquidity issues at the Pool or Saint Bitts as a whole (Shaun has stated here that they were operating at a loss for BCH mining), and/or (ii) Emil and team simply think they would try to cynically scare off as ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I paid $728 and received back $2000 plus the $728 8 months later.
No problem ! I give you 600% but I wait it makes 1000% then :D

Stop counting in USD, count in BTC/BCH as they always did to see how hard you've been fucked.

Just count how much you loose by not keeping your coins. And don't forget ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I don't think that all the lifetime contract holders will feel the same way. It might depend on when you started your contract. I was a bit surprised at first and felt powerless when I got the email yesterday announcing this. I decided to try selling my contract on Ebay but only got 8 views and no ...

+1000 !

But hey, we have choice : either we accept the deal or we wait until someday, maybe, err, well, they don't know… Maybe Zowki is building himself the datacenter and then will move the hardware one by one in its luggage, one by day. That's probably why it takes so long :D

For them it's win ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

ViaBTC surprised their customers a week ago similarly by increasing fees to 50% and giving buy-back option similar to this. That's where these guys propably got their idea how to get rid of us.
But their proposal, already considered as a scam, gives 2.2 more BCH per share than the one of Bitcoin ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

We've partnered with the largest mining farm in North America. My understanding of the benefit to them is that they can get a guaranteed amount for their hash rate right now that allows them to buy more hash rate right away, rather than having to wait a whole month.

It was said by Roger Ver on ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

A refund at current price isn't even a good deal. So, at the date of purchase price, it's a total scam. You make the mistake, you pay the price. Most of your hashrate was supposed to be in the US.

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Guys, considering the lifetime contracts shortage since months I'm not sure you should try to sell your contracts for less than the current price (999$) as you are doing. As zowki says, demand is way too high for the supply. Nothing says lifetime contracts will be available again nor available soon ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Still no move about our share of BTC mining fees…

But don't worry, team is doing well and they just have increased again the price of their contracts :

- 749$ for 1 year (+15%, 51mBTC)
- 999$ for lifetime (+11%, 68mBTC)

Happy new year

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Bingo ! New price increase :
- 649$ (or 46,3 mBTC) for 1 year , instead of 449$ ( +45% , +217% in 2 weeks )
- 899$ (or 64,2 mBTC) for lifetime , instead of 599 ( +50% , +225% in 2 weeks ).

Same time, mining fees for BTC are at 45%, but we only have 10%. That's so fair…

BTW, if someone ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

What's up with the BCH payout? About half less in two days !!! The bitcoin price drops and the BCH goes up. So shorten the payouts right away. It's more profitable in dollars and BCH has more in it for you ... it's just scam !!!

It's called difficulty adjustment and it's normal. If you bought a ...

BTC network fees at 35%, higher than ever for the last month.

You pay 10%.

Conclusion : true Bitcoin.com pool fees are 22% for BTC mining , MUCH MORE than competitors… :)

KableK, Bitcoin.com pool admins play unfair for a moment now…

- «lifetime» : 399$ -> 599$ (it was 129$ at the beginning)

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

It's a bit better. At least we now have choice to mine BTC keeping same conditions as when we took the contract. BCH wasn't existing at this time, so it's like a bonus we had as we can now mine it too.

Any reason to not simply add a PPLNS fee and keep PPS with no fee (or much lower fee) ?

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I'm reading all your feedback and I understand.

As our pool grows, we require more pool servers and we cannot provide this service for free and charge 0% fees anymore. Especially since BCH has not much transaction fee reward at the moment. We still have the lowest PPS fees compared to every other ...

We remain the pool with the lowest PPS fees in the world, even after this change. Thank you for ...
