Re: Follow the Stream (of money)

Not everyone who works at Blockstream is a Core Dev. To list them all there as Core Devs is disingenuous.

Also, to call Roger Ver a neutral investor is just plain false. He is by no means neutral.

Re: Clearing the FUD around Segwit

No matter how anyone tries to spin it it's an overly complicated approach that needs more testing than bitcoin has time for right now and should be done as a hard fork. That is your opinion, you are entitled to your opinion, I will not attempt to change that. The goal of this article is to help sto...

Clearing the FUD around Segwit

I wrote a post on my website to try to clear up the misunderstandings that people have and spread about Segregated Witness. http://www.achow101.com/2016/04/Segwit-FUD-Clearup If you think I missed something or made a mistake, please let me know and I will change it. Feel free to discuss what I have ...

I think the contest will end at the end of this year.
Is this still happening? The year end has come and gone.

Re: RBF just got merged into Bitcoin Core

This happened a while ago. It does look like its for real, might not be so bad but i haven't looked into in much yet. Anything major that's implmented into core should always go to some sort of vote. As far as i am aware a consensus only applies to hard forks but what other devs agreed on this one, ...

Re: Wiki.Bitcoin.com (1.2 BTC in prizes available!)

It has already been mirrored from the existing Wiki, so it is ready for people to start updating from there. A great first page to work on would be an "Upcoming Events" page. We can list all the upcoming conferences and link directly to it from the menu bar of the main site. I was managing / editin...

Re: Signature Campaigns Topic is solved

How about making it so that in order to run a sig campaign, people need to pay a fee to the forum and that those running the campaign (both the campaign managers and the person the campaign is for) can be banned based upon the posts of those in their campaigns. This both discourages campaigns so tha...

Re: [Important] Signed Message Verification

I haven't been able to verify both of your signed messages. The achow101 account message looks like the "Bitcoin signature" could be missing something to me. Not sure about the other yet. I need to know what was the exact message you signed, did you add the bitcointalk profile in the message? I thi...
