Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Auto-withdrawal has been working for BTC, but not for BCH. I am trying to enable my auto-withdrawal for BCH. Please advise if I just click on "Enable auto-withdrawal?" Or if there are any other specific actions that I need to take. Thank you.

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

You may want to update the "Estimated 24 hour Revenue" calculator that is located under the bar graph in Dashboard. For a 5 TH/s contract, it calculates $4.13 for BTC and $4.08 for BCH. Since the pool came back on line, for my 5 TH/s contract, and with switching to the most profitable coin on, I am ...

Thanks for re-enabling the life-time contracts in 41 days, instead of the previously estimated 100 - 105 days.

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I decided to try selling my contract on Ebay but only got 8 views and no watchers after leaving it listed overnight, so I cancelled the ebay listing and accepted the refund of my initial $ from bitcoin.com. I needed money promptly, so that helped me make a quick decision.

The reason you saw no ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I agree. All mining pools are a contract. The miners in this pool did not just wake up one day and say "Well, I think I will try this crypto mining thing, I will throw some money into it, and I will see what happens". That would have been "taking a chance".

The way this is being handled, looks like ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

From now until end of April is about 3.5 months (about 100 to 110 days). Let's take, just as an example, a 5 TH / s lifetime contract., and let's say, on average, this contract is providing the miner with $10 per day of income. So, in 110 to 110 days, a miner with a 5 TH / s contract, will lose ...

BTC is about 7% more profitable on this pool right now, but 59% more profitable in reality, we are missing out on 52% of the profits from BTC mining, and the pool is raking in over $60,000 per BTC block in BTC fees now and not ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

There have been some doubts on this forum about contracts not paying off the initial investment. In case people are interested, I am now in the black in my contract. My initial investment was a $745 lifetime contract in July. I have now mined about 0.09028 bitcoin (which is about $650), plus a ...

Over 85% of the global hashrate has agreed to mine Segwit2X, so it is unlikely that the Segwit1X chain will survive. Please withdraw your BTC before the hard fork (approximately November 16th) if you want access to your Segwit1X coins.

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I think mining is in a lot of trouble in general. We have seen hash rate come online faster and faster, possibly due to the temporary and unsustainable increased mining profits from the BTC/BCH chain split, and now we are facing quite a different B1X/B2X chain split that will likely decrease ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

What's going to happen after the 2X fork? Some (like coinbase) say they will split my BTC into BTC and B2X, and some say they will covert all my BTC into B2X. What's the wise thing to do before the fork? Some said we have to transfer our BTC to a wallet that won't support the 2X fork and use a ...

To: Sirslicey

Thanks for your good post. It is difficult, basically impossible, for anyone to predict the future, especially when it comes to Bitcoin. For example, if someone knew in 2014 that Bitcoin price would hit $5,000 this year, that person would be a very wealthy man now.

In answer to your ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

The fork.lol site shows practical equal profitability between the chains now.

One question I have is, why bother continuing to mine BTC at all? With the high fees, how will you even get your mining rewards out? They'll be eaten by fees and slow confirmation times.

There are a couple of reasons ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Hello everyone!! I am new to pool.bitcoin.com, and have been mining for about one month. I switched from mining BTC to BCH a couple of days ago.

I see that the next BCH difficulty will be higher. In 840 blocks from this post, which is probably less than 24 hours from this post, the BCH difficulty ...
