Re: For sale DragonMint T1 16TH Bitcoin Miner

Interested.

Can you do escrow with a trusted third party here, and ship to the USA? (Roughly what price). Shipping I pay up-front, Bitcoins released on delivery in USA if that works for you.

Thank you,
James

Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? [SOLD]

I doubt that. Satoshi is very closely related to the initial responders to the whitepaper and early developers. In that sense he has multiple identities and is an expert in op-sec. He has peculiar language he likes to use, and this is reflected in his code and the earliest releases of Bitcoin, and i...

Is this a password like a PIN or other entry method to the wallet, or is it a password on a private key? Is it a wallet at all? :) What do you mean by Bitcoin password? You can buy Bitcoin Cash and load it up somewhere without a password. If what you want is a password associated with an existing wa...

It would be helpful to understand what you are trying to achieve. If all you want is a new BCH wallet that doesn't see anything, then why not just install a new wallet? It won't see anything, and you don't have to import keys, sweep them, or otherwise do anything. It won't know about your seed/s/key...

Re: Zcash: a new standard for privacy and anonymity

ZCash is a fantastic crypto and well worth trying out. It's privacy features on top of everything else, and reasonably fast confirmation times makes it worthwhile. If you've ever wanted to become a miner, start with ZCash and an ASIC (forget GPU rigs). Get a decent second hand one. Even with fairly ...

It can be worth it for enthusiasts who have the capital and time required, yes. And the expertise. It all comes down to locating equipment, bulk buying cheaply to set up, electricity costs (very important) and how much hash power you can deliver. Mining varies over time, with difficulty going up and...

You have the A9 ZMaster at $1999 but above in post at $1199. Assume price is $1999? Shipping cost to regional Australia?

I like your A9+ ZMaster @ 150k/sol price, the best I have seen so far. I'll get back to that in a moment.

I'm guessing SIGHASH_FORKID to outgoing transactions in the bitcore library, and create the new network object. It's still outgoing to the same port number so Bitcoin Cash nodes running as a real fork will pick it up. If there was a reasonably quick and easy way to query the node for its services, i...

It seems the newish AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16-core / 32 threads with 32MB L3 cache could be a winner for Monero mining. That would assume 16 cores rather than threads having access to their own 2MB of L3 cache, which seems to be the case. yep, they even advertized it as so: http://pc.watch.im...

If yes, what hardware and software? Pool or solo?

I use pool.minexmr.com in the background, with a GPU miner. I probably shouldn't do this on one of my MSI gaming laptops... ;) Hash rate sucks though.

Has anyone been able to get to the megahashes/sec with Monero?
