Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I am really not getting your prices now:

you are so confusing guys!
Way overpriced at the moment. We're in the middle of a bear market and the demand for mining hasn ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

As it is right now it is a royal pain to report mining income from this mining pool for tax purposes here in the US. The CSV's provided are not helpful enough in reporting for taxes.

I believe I am supposed to report daily payout in terms of BTC/BCH(for reporting capital gains) and in terms of USD ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I wanted to chime in and apologize to anyone who is unhappy with the recent events in China and to anyone who wasn't aware that some of our hash rate was also hosted in China in addition to the USA and other countries around the word.

Unfortunately the situation in China is beyond our control, but ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

A refund in terms of initial cost in USD is simply not worth it, assuming the hashrate ever comes online again. What is dissapointing to me is that the hashrate is guaranteed 100% uptime.

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Underpaying BTC mining fees, underpaying BCH @ 98% block reward(why again? seems unfair to BCH miners), ridiculous contract prices, and no lifetime plans for months, no more pre-orders. What is going on? A little more transparency would be great as I'm sure you guys can understand. A lot of us have ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I think it would be a great idea to implement direct price conversion for the amount of BTC or BCH you have on the top left within the dashboard. You might also include a "total accounts in USD" or something. That makes it easier so I don't have to copy/paste into a converter. Of course you should ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Any word on when new hashrate stock will be available? The word was late september, we are approaching mid October soon enough.

Another question, I thought I heard rumors that Bitmain announced new ASIC miners to be released relatively soon. How will new hardware affect the price per TH/s?

Thanks

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I must say that after much research and consideration, the current prices for all three contracts are way too expensive for my likes. Using historical data in GreyWyvern's calculator, I'm seeing a 30% loss in Bitcoin Cash over the course of the next ten years. My contracts from earlier in the year ...

ETA on accepting Bitcoin Cash to buy contracts? I know it's relatively soon.
Within a week.
Do you foresee any more price/stock changes on current purchasable contracts within the next week or so? More-so looking at Pre-Order 2 or perhaps a new Pre-Order 3 for November-31st?

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Buying mining contracts with your pool, even the pre-orders seem to not be worth it at all since the hard-fork. if you are a Bitcoin Cash user/miner and believe in it's future. The calculated returns on Bitcoin Cash at the moment are very negative due to the high price per TH/s, and that is with ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

Do you guys think it's better to hold my 3.2 BCH right now, or to throw it into a new mining contract? I was looking to buy a pre-order 2 oct.31st contract yesterday, then BCH spiked like crazy today. Now I'm not sure which is a more profitable move long term.

EDIT: If I bought the contract right ...

Re: Bitcoin.com Mining Pool Official Discussion Thread

I of course mine the chain that has the most potential, not the chain that promises short term payout and "feels" safest. The long term usability and potential with BCC is far superior than that Blockstream Second Layer Settlement Coin. Teething issues are an irrelevant obstacle to overcome.

When is the best time to withdraw BTC from our bitcoin.com pool accounts? I want to hopefully have all my BTC from the pool on my Trezor before the hard fork occurs. Looks like they have changed the contracts so that they end after 60 days of unprofitably instead of 7, which is great. But does that affect all existing contracts or only new ones?

Re: Pool.bitcoin.com: Let's talk split contingency

I suppose we'll find out one way or another. I would like to know how these scenarios would affect our contracts as well. What about mining difficulty, what influences a lowered mining difficulty? Would the BTC current daily returns jump from a hard fork?
