MillionBitcoinCash.com/.org and related sites

There seems to be a larger scam effort, which I will refer to as "MBCH" , brewing around the abovementioned domains and including some more domains listed in the announcement at this URL: https://bitco.in/forum/threads/million-bitcoin-cash-fork-1-1-of-bitcoin-pro-on-chain-scaling-cheaper-fees.2670/ ...

Re: Roger Ver & Co. to Hold ‘Free Speech Party’ at Scaling Bitcoin Milan

This is awesome.

I wish it would have been announced a little earlier though, so that more presenters from unapproved/unwelcome talks could have prepared to present at this 'Free Speech conference'.

Looking forward to hearing more about the true scaling conf! :-)

我们要对比特币进行分叉

http://i.imgur.com/CB2nrW5.png --- https://proxy1.zn.kindlyfire.me/bitcoinforks.bit/zh/ https://proxy...

Re: We're forking Bitcoin!

hi rizlarolla, we acknowledge that a fork that wishes to compete with the main chain needs to reset difficulty to low, at least in the initial phase. There is ongoing discussion about how the difficulty should be adjusted after that, but currently I see some broad consensus within the community of f...

Re: We're forking Bitcoin!

We are a group of Bitcoin users forking Bitcoin back to its original vision of scaling on-chain to the world; with or without miner majority. That means there will be one or more hard fork clients which will spin-off the existing Bitcoin chain to present on-chain scaling solutions (bigger blocks an...

Re: What is your ideal level of decentralization for Bitcoin?

In an ideal world I wouldn't have to worry about running a node and the expenses that come with it. So I'm in the 'go big or go home' camp. But Bitcoin has a journey to get there - it must walk before it can run. So we had better all run nodes and not just think the other guy is going to do it so we...

Re: A Bitcoin.com mining pool?

It's a great idea.

We need a pool to support upcoming hardforks.

What about P2Pool as a basis?
I'm not *entirely* sure, but I think it's all open source too:

I have a lot of respect for Eric but he is either uninformed or being disingenuous about the hashing of the last 1000 blocks mined. I would like to believe it is the former. While I totally agree with your point that numbers should not be misrepresented and everyone should be realistic about the si...

Re: Media Speculation Grows that Satoshi will Reveal Himself as Early as The Weekend

We can only hope that he still has commit access and reveals himself by increasing the blocksize. All Satoshi could do is offer advice one way or the other. Sure, it could affect things, but I don't think it would matter all that much. People are realizing that Bitcoin is open source for a reason -...

Re: Concrete Steps

Try to stay informed on upcoming hard forks like SatoshisBitcoin which aim to put the control back into the hands of the users. These forks should be viewed as a kind of insurance against the substantial risk of a major economic change event, such as e.g. the "death spiral" scenario which was recent...

Re: Are you more upset by the Censorship, or the slowness of scaling progress?

At this stage, equally upset by both. In the beginning, I was only upset by censorship (starting from /r/Bitcoin). Honestly, a scaling debate always takes time, so that's expected. But when censorship is used to push one side of that debate, it's when I get upset equally at the slow pace of scaling....

Mike, thanks for your great work on Bitcoin, BitcoinXT, and I'm really looking forward to Lighthouse.
