Bitcoin Cash, scaling to the future! Flowee researching improvements for the unspent outputs database.

In my effort to make the Bitcoin codebase more mature, and most of all multi-threading, I got limited a for a long time by the UTXO. A central component that has issues with multi-threading and is a bottleneck for bigger blocks. I finished a prototype implementation for a new UTXO database in the Fl...

Re: Everything you know about (Bitcoin) wallets is wrong

Methinks you misunderestimate Wright.
Hehe, you invented a new word :)

You are being funny, I hope. You see Craig repeat (and link to!) Satoshi and you attribute the knowledge to Craig?

The person you should be attributing this insight to is Satoshi.

Re: Everything you know about (Bitcoin) wallets is wrong

Your article seems to be quite along the lines of Craig Wright's tweets and talks recently.
Humans are naturally good at recognizing patterns and see commonalities and predicability in what really is just noise without substance.

Everything you know about (Bitcoin) wallets is wrong

I was complaining online how nobody is making a good BitcoinCash wallet, so they asked me; what is wrong with the current ones? This resulted in me writing a new article; Everything you know about (Bitcoin) wallets is wrong Please read here; https://www.yours.org/content/everything-you-know-about--b...

Re: bitcoin cash logo & branding

The OPs images had the B tilted the wrong way. Nope, the initial guy that did the tilting did it wrong :) The tilt-right in the initial logo was consistent with the italic of the actual text. Tilting the logo to the left clearly shows the guy that did that is not a graphics designer as it looks ver...

https://www.yours.org/content/on-the-path-to-freedom-of-innovation-3d3cd1e35527 Where do I want to go? I've been asking myself. To answer where, I would need to know why, I thought. Re: cex.io ?

As a matter of course I've tried a lot of different exchanges. My findings of CEX.IO; The user interface is childish and annoying. A popup asking me to confirm adding something to the order book is just getting in my face. Their site sends lots of emails, but very little useful ones. And you can't f...

Are they not supporting it already?
Hmm? Who is the "They" you are talking about?

Bitcoin Classic, as well as Bitpay itself naturally, support it. I'm sure others have as well that I don't know about. Yours indicated in a comment on the linked article that they are planning to do so as well.

Re: What should the ticker for Bitcoin Cash be? BCH or BCC?

As a developer I wanted to make clear what the original idea was. Bitcoin Cash is a new coin and as such we need to write in the user interface a unit of value. For instance "milli-BCC". Or whole BCCs. As a completely independent topic the name BCC was initially used by some exchanges as a ticker as...

Re-thinking Bitcoin transaction priorities.

There is a air of oppression that lifted in the Bitcoin Cash ranks. This is still something we are getting used to, but the change is clear and the benefits are slowly being realized. We used to live with the people that want to forever have 1MB blocks and are still fighting against even a little in...

My own background is legal, so I am paying particular attention to the innovative use of smart contracts in legal sectors, such as the maritime insurance industry.
If so, then this is a must-see.

About the "Accepted here" stickers. I know some languages where the text is currently not what natives would say (they would giggle). The NL one: "AANVAARD HIER" I would say "HIER GEACCEPTEERD". Bitcoin Core is at 0.15 and Bitcoin Classic released 1.0 some time ago.

Not sure if its helpful to jump over the 1.x series.

Re: Whats new in classic (Jan 30)

What roles does Bitcoin Classic have among Core and now BCH? Bitcoin Classic has the ability to work on both the core-chain and the Bitcoin Cash chain. You can have two Classic clients running on the same machine and see both your wallets at the same time, even. I think the market is moving towards...
