Re: Waiting 2 days for confirmation - Paid maximum fee on Electrum - Help Please

Thank you for letting me know. I thought it was the best fee as set it to max on electrum. I think i need to change my electrum settings. What fee would you recommend? Thanks again Sorry for the late reply, it seems bitkilo already helped you out :) As for the recommended fee, i'd suggest checking ...

Re: Problematic levels of Miner Pooling

Pool mining is the best but you have to be certain if it worth dispensing your energy on. There is no sure way to ascertain that a particular pool miner has a problematic levels. Re: Confused about transaction

I'm afraid we'll have to take one step back here... First: i assume you're using bitcoin-qt (core) on mac OSX since you're talking about moving around your wallet.dat (altough some other wallet clients use the wallet.dat format, altough these wallets aren't compatible with core). What version of bit...

Re: Bitcoins not getting confirmed

It looks like all 4 transactions have been confirmed over the course of the weekend :D However, i did notice all 4 had a fee of ~44 satoshi/byte. Last week, the recommended fee was between 120 and 160 satoshi/byte. In other words: the low fee caused the confirmation delay. If you want to avoid this ...

Re: Often can't access forum.bitcoin.com even if individual threads etc are accessible

Maybe the forum webserver has blocked your VPN's IP, due to the recent DDoS attacks? Since it's an nginx error, we can deduct that you are connecting to the server and not timing out. The 403 error means that nginx is denying your web requests for some reason. I think this is correct... I have the ...

Yes its a shame the OP didn't post the txid's first off or this could already be underway. Re: Ive been hacked Topic is solved

if you're really, really fast, you can try to double spend the inputs, generate a new transaction with a big fee and the output going to an address generated by a clean wallet on a clean pc. This can ONLY be done as long as the "stealing" transactions are not confirmed. Step 1= make sure you have th...

Creating a coin is easy IF you know the inner workings of the protocol AND you have programming experience...
