I'm still trying to figure all of this out, but other than anonymity, what makes zcash so much different than bitcoin, or for that matter, any of these other altcoins that have quite a few services and applications to offer users?

Also, is the mining algo sha256? I don't think that was clearly ...

Thanks for the replies guys. I do agree that holding all your BTC in one place is a very bad idea. Sounds like trezor might be the way to go for a hardware option right now.

If anyone else has an opinion please chime in!

I've been wanting to get some kind of BTC hardware wallet for some time now but am still undecided about what to get. Would love to hear everyone's opinions. I'm sure most will say that a paper wallet is best, and I'm sure that is most likely the case, but I'm specifically looking for opinions about ...
