Well, being a good computer does not make it a good mining device. Even for solo it is preferred to use GPUs because of their architecture.

Why would you even? Is there some unique worthy idea? There are loads of forks which claim to have interesting features, but even those don't work out often. Or is it just personal development?

Interesting idea but let's hope it won't be cursed with the "planet of hats" trope. Plenty of plots can be created though, as application of blockchain is potentially limitless.

Was useful to read, tnx. I'm going to North Korea next month. I've already booked cheap tickets on https://uk.lowcost.club/ . My old friend invited me. Hope everything will be ok. That's a good idea for a separate thread. Would be very interesting to read. Wish you the trip to be good and productive.

Time has come to establish a special therapy for such glorious addicts, though, nobody will attend these if the payments are not to be accepted with BTC, which won't solve the problem at all.

Re: UK Bans End-to-End Encryption, Mandates Government Authority Over Encrypted Technologies

They might use this "encryption" card just to get someone guilty. Ridiculous. If someone sends a file and it gets damaged, and they spot it... "Yeah, we can't decide what is this file, therefore it has to be encrypted. Give us keys or you're using unauthorized encryption!"

Very informative post. Thanks for sharing. In my opinion though, this isn't really needed unless controlling a huge number of btc
Tor hidden bitcoind's are extremely hard to hack.
Wanted to ask the same question, thank you. Rather interesting material.

You really never know. Some people may invest due to their "dumbness" and get profit, in some unique cases. It's not that ration considerations are harmful, it's just life is still a lottery. Risk management is what matters the most.
