It should be the newest version. I downloaded it today from the android play store. I didn't see anywhere to check the version number in the app unfortunately. I noticed it only seems to be happening with small payments. If you try a payment worth 10 cents does it use 1 satoshi/byte?

Hi, thanks for sharing. Are you using the latest version of the wallet? Should be v 4.5.0. I tried to replicate this problem and the fees are 1 sat/byte.

I have been a btc holder since 2012. I support Bitcoin Unlimited. To say that others with significant bitcoin holdings "don't care about bitcoin" is not only absurd but reveals an almost willful ignorance.
