Be aware of

Thu Dec 15, 2016 12:29 pm

Hi guys,

Please be aware of this fake and scam exchange company www.sellbitcoinsfast.com

I sent them 1.245 bitcoin but they never transfer it to my paypal account.

I'm amazed at how could they be an official and doing their deception under the law? They even have an EV SSL on their website.

Best,
Ahmad

Anyone can get EV SSL. You can get those certs for $50.

You should always check the reputation of any company you sent Bitcoin to, as unfortunately, there are a lot of scammers out there.

I'm sorry to hear you were cheated like that.
One of the plans we have for Bitcoin.com is to add a known scammer list to hopefully help avoid situations like this.

It may make sense to add a verified resource with reviews, or some type of "verified" tag.

I always find that products and services with a good amount of "good reviews", helps to counter theft, while increasing sales for the seller.

While no plan is bullet-proof, at least we can do our best to ensure a positive experience!

it seems to get harder and harder to spot fake sites from the real deal, the scammers are getting better at designing their sites to make them look like the real thing.
