shapeshift.io ?

Hello,

I used shapeshift.io to change some bitcoins into litecoins on two occasions. The first time everything went well, and they were very fast.

But the second time I did change some bitcoins into litecoins the transaction did not presses. It says "awaiting exchange" but won't exchange. I have contacted support, but until now did not hear from them.

I have heard nothing then good stuff about them, so I am surprised that this transaction doesn't go through. I have asked for the exchange, from bitcoin to litecoin, on the 15.08.2017.

What do you think ? Normally it takes seconds, minutes, not days.

Did your transaction actually went through though? Never used shapeshift so I'm not sure how much confirmations they need.

If your question is "did they receive the found"; the answer is yes.

Update :

ShapeShift did answer. On the same day, a couple of hours later.

My status went from "awaiting exchange" to "failed".

And here is what ShapeShift had to say :

"Hi,
There was an intermittent error exchanging these funds. Your BTC have been scheduled for a refund, and you will receive an additional email at the time they are sent back. Thank you!

I am happy with that, and will be refund. So everything is great. Errors can happen. We should not be too hard on them. The important thing is that they answered straight away and will send the money back. Very competent. Good service.

Awaiting the money; then it will be over.

Let's hope next time I use them it works better; without errors.

I use them from time to time. Although I prefer blocktrades.us.

Much like ShapeShift you don't have to sign up for an account or provide any personal information, not even an email address.

I have received the money a couple of hours later. But did not received the E-mail they talked about. Anyways, it's all good. They paid the full amount back, with transaction fees. Great service. Will keep on using them.

I did receive there E-mail one day after the money. Everything is fine, they did a good job. I recommend using them.
