$10,000 USD bounty for a fork of the Bitcoin.com wallet to support Bitcoin Cash

I'll gladly pay $10,000 in Bitcoin legacy or Bitcoin cash to any person or team that enables the Bitcoin.com Wallet to support Bitcoin Cash as outlined below.

Source Code

The steps required seem to be:

1. Update the Bitcore-lib to be able to sign the new Bitcoin Cash transaction format. https://github.com/bitpay/bitcore-lib

2. If needed, update Bitcore Wallet Service to work with the BCC version of Insight (This likely has most of what you need)

3. Make some small changes to the GUI as outlined below.

4. Whatever other details that I may be missing. (Of course all the code will be open source so anyone else can use it as well.)

With this fix, we would then have a wallet for Windows, OSX, Linux, Android, Iphone, and even Windows phone.









With these steps we would now have a Bitcoin Cash wallet available via Bitcoin.com for everyone who is a fan of the original vision for Bitcoin as laid out by Satoshi.

Is this $10,000 bounty valid for the windows wallet that I have downloaded from your site today? I have set up my wallet and followed all the steps necessary (enabled testnet)

I am also running a windows Bitcoin unlimited full node (using the same data store that I used to run bitcoin core). It s now completely synced up.

Short status update,
I have added Bitcoin Cash to frontend, saves to backend.
In front ToDo:
- add SIGHASH_FORKID to outgoing transactions
- configure own insight-api , right now I am connecting to http://blockdozer.com/insight

p.s. Screenshots attached, I am not used 3 states for BCC as i hope Bitcoin Cash will have its own test network.

Kraken and a bunch of other major exchanges have announced that they will list it.
Getting a price feed won't be any problem.

any way USD is only ~ price, all internal transactions in BCC and USD only for reference.

Yeah of course man, as a fellow programmer I understand and know how stressful it can be and how much work goes into it...I by no-means can compare myself to you though...I do simple proprietary stuff for banking software lol. I'm sure working with code not only involving cryptography, but integrating it with mobile apps it just mind numbing.

In the examples shown, it has support for creating a new BCC wallet and working with BCC transactions.

But what about existing BTC wallets? Now that the fork is done, would the procedure be to import from the backup 12 word phrase but with BCC set to get the duplicated funds on the BCC chain? Could this be automated in the UI somehow?


Sidenote: I'd suggest a different icon to differentiate BTC and BCC wallets in app.

I am a dev, I will help.

I am not familiar with bitcoin codebase, however I have several years of experience coding, and I am a bitcoin enthusiast, so I am familiar with the ideas behind bitcoin, and the idea of the changes that need to repoint the protocol.

What is the github codebase address of the bitcoin.com wallet?

one other thing that will help me identifying where the tweaks need to be made:
Is it a thin client like electrum wallet or is it a full node like the classic btc wallet?
