Cash strapped India driving bitcoin volume?

Wed Apr 19, 2017 4:49 am ... ifications

This is an interesting story. A flight of cash in India could drive bitcoin volume. But the weekly volume chart shared in the article only shows an uptick in volume over the last week. Since February volume has declined from its all time high. And something that's REALLY odd is that every third week the volume spikes for some reason. The shows consistent growth in bitcoin volume since volume growing in general, broadly in the continent over the last 5 years.

Anyone have additional information on how the attitude toward bitcoin in India may be shifting as of late?
