The Bitfury, Washington DC, and Small Block connection

Wed Jul 12, 2017 10:11 am

Here are some links to the people working at the mining company that is most supportive of Core and Blockstream:
http://bitfury.com/team
http://bitfury.com/contacts
Notice the Washington DC address.
Notice all the people who used to work for government.

Their CIO Alex Petrov, used to work for Interpol full time before Bitfury, and still does consulting work for them.

These people are Blocksteam and Core’s biggest supporters, and the biggest opponents to allowing bitcoin to scale for the world to be able to use it.

This is worth noticing.

worth noticing are your lies Roger :) .

When you want Paypal 2.0 just fork off and build it. Your motivation is greed and not a robust bitcoin network. People know that already.

That DC address is just strange to me for a few reasons.

Its the same building as the FTC library (per Google maps)

Why even have office space there, for what purpose? The cost alone to lease space in that building is astronomical.

You can't just walk into a building like that. You need permission to be in a place like that. I could very easily visit that building but wouldn't be able to step foot inside the doors without having permission for being there. I would guess they have metal detectors and guards inside.

Why are they there? Do they actually occupy space there? Or is this a bogus address?

A lot of policy making happens there, and it's probably convenient to have an address there. Coin Center is in Washington D.C. as well. They do advocacy work. I think the country of Georgia is very Pro-Bitcoin, and they are working with BitFury on really big blockchain projects. It's possible that BitFury is just trying to make shit happen.

Is Bitfury considered generally as a trusted website? Or is it more on the side of how much people trust Poloniex for example.
