How to buy Bitcoin cloud mining contracts

If you’ve read some of our other guides on cloud mining such as what is Bitcoin cloud mining and calculating Bitcoin mining profitability, and you’re interested in buying Bitcoin cloud mining hashrate, then this guide is for you. This guide will walk you through in just a few easy steps on how to buy hashrate yourself and begin cloud mining today.

To buy a Bitcoin cloud mining contract, the first step you will want to do is go to the Bitcoin.com Mining Pool and choose the best mining plan that works for you based on your own personal requirements. There are several plans available from short-to-mid term plans all the way to lifetime plans. Each plan has an initial cost and a slider where you can adjust the hashrate, which can increase or decrease the cost (based on the mining power allocated to that plan).

You can read the full cloud mining contract guide here -->

Genesis Mining is legitimate but contracts have never been profitable because they charge the highest daily fees in the industry. The two cloud mining outfits that have reasonable fees are pool.bitcoin.com and pool.viabtc.com. ViaBTC's prices per TH/s are higher than pool.bitcoin.com but fees are lower. At the moment they are the only hosted mining outfit that has S9_BCC mining available. You buy S9 BTC lifetime contracts and switch to BCC. You will still be mining BTC until Aug 1 when the BCC fork occurs.

I never fully understood this - what exactly is the advantage of cloud mining over just buying bitcoin and hoping it goes up eventually?
We don't need no centralisation. ImageImageImage

For most folks just buying and holding bitcoin is the better option. The past two years those who were mining Ether and Litecoin at home using GPU rigs made our very well. But they started when prices were depressed and you could buy video cards for a few hundred each. No longer.

If you buy bitcoin cloud mining you will not get your investment returned (in bitcoin) for about a year. Then if your contracts are still active you are in profit. The difficulty will be so high at that time your profit will depend on how high the bitcoin price is. You should not be investing more than play money in cloud mining unless you expect bitcoin price to double in the next year IMO.
