I don't know of any tutorials for data from coinmarketcap but it would be interesting to see. What are you exactly looking for in the data?

Coinmarketcap is one of the best tools for traders and developers online. They have a large database of coins, and their status and even exchange prices. I usually use it to find the total trade volume of smaller coins, and find other interesting statistics that blockchain.info doesn't give me.

Mostly just look at the

I personally just mainly use coinmarket cap for the "gainers and loosers" page: http://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/

Just gives me a good idea on what's pumping and dumping. and to get a better view of the charts I go to exchanges like kraken, bitfinex, and bittrex.
