20BTC Bounty for the capture of extortionist

Wed Nov 04, 2015 8:24 am

On the evening of Sunday, Nov 1st in Tokyo Japan, someone using the ID of "SRT8 Spaso", Skype ID "kfhgfbvdfgbvcxfgbvgfffdvsc" contacted me and demanded 20 BTC, or he would send the swat team to my mother's house, and poison her food with crack.

I take these sorts of potential death threats very seriously, so instead of paying the 20BTC ransom, I have placed a 20 BTC bounty for the capture of the perpetrator. Full details can be found at: bitcoinbountyhunter.com

Here is a video of the second half of my interaction with the extortionist.

Oh, at first I thought this was post to the airing of the VPRO doc. I see that is not the case. Name sounds European though, but who knows.

If you want to post this over to The Google+ Bitcoin Community and The Facebook Bitcoin Group. You are welcome to do so Roger.

Holly shit, this is not good. I hope you don't have to put up with much of this shit

You did the right thing posting this on http://bitcoinbountyhunter.com/bounties.html for the people who know how to chase others down find it and direct the police to them but posting it on forums might just encourage more I would have thought, I really hope not.

These people need to be found, even if it's only bullshit it's always scary. I only just read a story the other day about some oil tycoon being taken for some huge bitcoin ransom.

Had something similar happen a year or so ago whereby the person threatened to have my sister raped unless gave him $10k in Bitcoins at the time. Taking jerks like this serious is pretty stupid.

He's now in jail I believe

Roger you should report these two accounts to Twitter and see if they can give you the user info to report to the FBI or something. Good luck!

There aren't too many wallets that reuse bitcoin addresses any more.
Blockchain.info is the main one that comes to mind.

His twitter acoount : https://twitter.com/sp4s0
It's pretty amazing to see that this guy has 50K+ followers on twitter(he has got more followers than you roger).
Also, twitteraudit shows that most of his followers are real(https://www.twitteraudit.com/sp4s0) and so this guy isn't that untouchable/anonymous as he thinks he is.
He is a fan of Lana Del Rey.
He mentions(on twitter) that he owns the domain "sardoche.com" which redirects to "ddos.city".

If you go by "sardoche.com" domain record, then this guy is French, and here is all his details :

Code: Select all

Domain Name: SARDOCHE.COM Registry Domain ID: 1837551365_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.hostinger.com Registrar URL: Updated Date: 2015-11-02T07:20:34Z Creation Date: 2013-12-01T19:47:31Z Registrar Registration Expiration Date: 2016-12-01T19:47:31Z Registrar: Hostinger, UAB Registrar IANA ID: 1636 Domain Status: clientTransferProhibited https://icann.org/epp#clientTransferProhibited Registry Registrant ID: Registrant Name: Honnet Andreas Registrant Organization: Honnet Andreas Registrant Street: 8 Bvd Francois Mitterant Registrant City: Evry Registrant State/Province: Evry Registrant Postal Code: 91000 Registrant Country: FR Registrant Phone: +33.634113974 Registrant Phone Ext: Registrant Fax: Registrant Fax Ext: Registrant Email: Email Masking Image@gmail.com Registry Admin ID: Admin Name: Honnet Andreas Admin Organization: Honnet Andreas Admin Street: 8 Bvd Francois Mitterant Admin City: Evry Admin State/Province: Evry Admin Postal Code: 91000 Admin Country: FR Admin Phone: +33.634113974 Admin Phone Ext: Admin Fax: Admin Fax Ext: Admin Email: Email Masking Image@gmail.com Registry Tech ID: Tech Name: Honnet Andreas Tech Organization: Honnet Andreas Tech Street: 8 Bvd Francois Mitterant Tech City: Evry Tech State/Province: Evry Tech Postal Code: 91000 Tech Country: FR Tech Phone: +33.634113974 Tech Phone Ext: Tech Fax: Tech Fax Ext: Tech Email: Email Masking Image@gmail.com Name Server: ns1.hostinger.fr Name Server: ns2.hostinger.fr Name Server: ns3.hostinger.fr Name Server: ns4.hostinger.fr DNSSEC:Unsigned
So, if we believe that he owns that domain, then we have his phone number, address and everything.
And I have a reason to believe that the guy whos data I am providing is the same guy who tried to extort you. These reasons are as follows :
1. In his twitter account, he has used French language many times to post tweets, this indicates that he is french.
2. If you look up his username in skype resolver (here : http://skypegrab.net/ ) , his pic on skype is same as the one he uses on twitter, and the name that he told you is also the same that he uses on his twitter account. So we have a solid reason to believe that this twitter account (https://twitter.com/sp4s0) is owned by the extortionist.

The IPs used by him have all been related to VPN, i.e I couldn't trace his original IP.
But everything above makes it clear that he owns the above mentioned twitter account and there is a very very high chance that he owns that domain(of which the whois info is listed above).

On a not so serious note : Do I have to take a picture of him along with me and the police to get the bounty(Or what is the procedure to claim the bounty?) ? :P hehe I provided all the info I could, hope I get some lead in this bounty.
To roger : Also, isn't it possible to get some kind of warrant issued against him by the court so that twitter and blockchain spills out all the information that they have about this user??

Oh! And the most important thing, i don't know if I have provided some new info or not(maybe all i wrote was already known to you), but if you feel that I got something important and something new, then tips are always welcomed.

Okay. Will soon submit the info to the proofofexistance!

Also, just make myself more clear to the readers,
I found three people here - 1. "SRT8 Spaso"(the extortionist) 2. Honnet Andreas(His full details are here : https://who.is/whois/sardoche.com ) 3. Spaso (https://twitter.com/sp4s0)

I base my my supposition that Spaso (https://twitter.com/sp4s0) is Honnet Andreas on the fact that Spaso has mentioned "sardoche.com" as his website(on twitter) and a who.is request on domain sardoche shows that the domain is registered to Honnet Andeas. Thus Spaso (https://twitter.com/sp4s0) is Honnet Andreas .

Now, the real extortionist here is "SRT8 Spaso", if you see his picture on skype( skype username: kfhgfbvdfgbvcxfgbvgfffdvsc ) then you'll get to know that his profile picture is the same as the profile picture of Spaso (https://twitter.com/sp4s0).
Also, their names are same. Also, "Spaso (https://twitter.com/sp4s0)" is not new to bitcoin, he is a bitcoin user(see this tweet : twitter.com/Sp4s0/status/664413370683101184). And then, SRT8 Spaso has a vanity address(1Spasoy6GexVd4hNx37CV7wXD34D5zfuy) that contains his name and he has been been using it for quite some time now. This verifies that "Spaso" is not some random username and was not generated on the spot while extortion but was being used by the extortionist since 2009(his twitter account was created in 2009).
Now from the above facts its clear that "SRT8 Spaso" is Spaso (https://twitter.com/sp4s0).
This means that the above three are all the same people.
This means that Honnet Andreas is "SRT8 Spaso" i.e the extortionist.

Full Info Of The Extortionist Can Be Found Here : https://who.is/whois/sardoche.com

Thanks
I hope I made myself more clear to the people. And if someone wants to use my facts to do some more investigation, then he is more than welcome to do so.

I guess you are talking about him : https://twitter.com/Sardoche_Lol . He also has same website mentioned in his twitter profile(sardoche.com). He too is French, and if he is a LoL player then what does he has to do with DDOS business(sardoche redirects to ddos site)? He ain't that straight as he looks.

Re: 20BTC Bounty for the capture of extortionist

I just got an airtight proof that SRT8 Spaso is Spaso(https://twitter.com/sp4s0).
If you see Spaso(https://twitter.com/sp4s0)'s tweet, this one : "https://twitter.com/Sp4s0/status/664413370683101184" , it says "Go buy drugs dla" this contains an address(1H4N6Lk1QNGTExY7hUzC1v4zCowEWtSYSd) that is linked to the extortionist's address(1Spasoy6GexVd4hNx37CV7wXD34D5zfuy), this is the address that the extortionist gave to roger to send the 20BTC.
The address 1Spasoy6GexVd4hNx37CV7wXD34D5zfuy has been used to send 1.7 BTC to 1H4N6Lk1QNGTExY7hUzC1v4zCowEWtSYSd and in the above tweet Spaso(https://twitter.com/sp4s0) confirms that he has sent 1.7BTC to 1H4N6Lk1QNGTExY7hUzC1v4zCowEWtSYSd. The blockchain date on which 1Spasoy6GexVd4hNx37CV7wXD34D5zfuy was used to send the funds to 1H4N6Lk1QNGTExY7hUzC1v4zCowEWtSYSd is same as the date that the above tweet shows.
So, Spaso(https://twitter.com/sp4s0) owns the address that was used to extort money from Roger and thus Spaso(https://twitter.com/sp4s0) is the scammer SRT8 Spaso that we are looking for. And, as mentioned in previous post SRT8 Spaso is Honnet Andreas.
Can someone cross examine my facts so that I can make sure that I am not missing out something.

I came to the same conclusion, but you'd need proof enough to submit to authorities, and get a conviction.
We have enough proof to show that the extortionist guy(SRT8 Spaso) and the twitter guy(Spaso) are the same people. There is enough proof to be shown to the authorities for this thing.
Also, we have proof for "https://twitter.com/Sardoche_Lol" is same as or is at least acquainted with "Http://twitter.com/sp4s0".
They have mentioned each other in tweets here : https://www.google.co.in/search?q=spaso ... 3&ie=UTF-8

And they are talking about hacking certain things. Also, they have same website linked to their profile.
If they both are same guy then there is a huge chance that Sardoche.com is owned by the extortionist or if they both are friends then its hugely possible that one of them owns this domain. But it doesn't matter who owns the domain, all we know is that they are certainly linked to the domain and if we visit the court then we can easily know that who owned that domain. Or if the court can summon "Honnet Andreas"(the actual owner of sardoche.com, we have his address, phone number) then we would be easily able to know that who actually is Sp4s0 in real life.

We have enough solid proofs, names, addresses to summon people who can speak out and tell who the real life extortionist was.
The only question is who will go to the court to get him convicted(i am pretty young for the legal things, neither i have enough money to do so) and i don't think anyone else will be willing to burden himself to get him convicted.
Roger Ver, its all upto you now.

Got one more air tight proof here that SRT8 Spaso is the spaso on twitter.
See this tweet here : https://twitter.com/Sp4s0/status/664483971032567808

Here he showed the pastebin link to the skype conversation between him and someone else. And guess what, he himself showed that he is using username of SRT8 spaso on skype.

https://twitter.com/Sp4s0 = Extortionist = Confirmed.

Archives of important links(for future reference in case the extortionist deletes something) :
https://archive.is/vAtML
https://archive.is/uY1D3
https://archive.is/257WA

EDIT: twitter.com/sp4s0 and twitter.com/sardoche_lol are the only one who have ever talked about sardoche.com on twitter(they are surely related to the domain and know who the real extortionist is)

You can turn this into the authorities who can subpeona Twitter for the IP and user information for this person. I'm guessing this guy isn't too bright, and Twitter probably has all his real info which the authorities can get which would lead to prosecution (if it's him).

I would have asked for a signed message from the address he wanted you to send to. so you would have a greater certainty that he was not tying to impersonate someone.

If you wee to assume that he does in fact control the private key to 1Spasoy6GexVd4hNx37CV7wXD34D5zfuy then:

The above address is part of Wallet [0acb8c72ef].

The above wallet sent money to NeuclusMarket address 1H4N6Lk1QNGTExY7hUzC1v4zCowEWtSYSd twice. The fact that he sent BTC to the same address twice leads me to believe that this is a deposit address of his, and that he is likely to be the person to send any BTC to that address. This also means that wallet [95910b2c46] and Wallet [9fffed4ead] are most likely his because they would contain the change addresses.

If you were to assume that every TX that was sent to the NeuclusMarket address was sent by the extortionist, then you will see that txid 5ba8c44419701cb8cf09e3835bcd6937cf957b991f3aad5da7b667d58b9521cb was sent by Wallet [04884e0b38]. This wallet has a large number of transactions from bitstamp (46). This wallet also sent BTC to Therocktrading.com several times (55). The transactions from bitstamp were after when bitstamp would only process BTC withdrawals for accounts whose identity is verified. I would say with a decent amount of certainty that Bitstamp would be able to provide the identity of either your extortionist or someone who has done business with your extortionist (I would think the former is more likely). The addresses that belong to this wallet are as follows:

Code: Select all

1HfWSbvkv7Nyv8tK4YKA2gaMCUN8i4uNyC 1E8izeXDwrt7mxZMctwqw95dWsLj3xswVj 1FU3iyhQ2e2om9FSA4cnwPR9LtWBr4ga4 18sKhVnjyuwYft7ruNxxD1T7rKeXVcxhDY 1G1xqZEtQCRdUWjwZ31obur1GAGR9efjqV 1M1w1nzscBLbmgdnNq1ZEJHa4xqFCHMVh2 1Jq8EnYRbKEwtWvUz7gJfjBbJJdBD4LSsi 1F9oqqzEfEKBRkRSmCBz6aT1apvSYAuYj3 1BpKfE5qWpvfWihZZWxPxFW5AmTmbtHn4R 1EyRYbuLMFBh4TN2oA8Ejjh5fch6k8m1BL 1JEJf3gJmswDkSY9Bhtr2rKwJGeHbbqozZ 177tzG6JxRFjKXdojs64x4JtQKw1XdPwYZ 16r8XfbfwBjKmbHPezoRZu3wnA41rBQkg3 1AKJph9jg11Ttxk1CiQLTrB64Sm4AcnFPA 1HBhKfLq6ukBxmgvzMr9Lfi41v1opN6fqg 1KCr81rVAnxe4bKfrs4igQZAaXczBW8Pzj
There might be a couple more leads that can be uncovered by looking at Wallet [0acb8c72ef], however I believe this is most likely going to be the strongest and the most likely to find the culprit.

This information alone will most likely not lead to a conviction, however (I am not an attorney) it might be enough to get probable cause to get business records of bitstamp, and Therocktrading and the information from those sites would hopefully be sufficient to have probable cause to search the computer(s) of the person who owns those accounts.

edit:
Addresses that I have a lot of certainty that belong to the same person who controls the address he asked you to send the 20 BTC to

Code: Select all

Thanks for the interesting information.
I believe all the details on how to claim the bounty are at http://bitcoinbountyhunter.com/faqs.html
If this ever happens to you again, or anyone - try to get the person to visit a URL to collect the ransom. Make sure you or someone you know can see the ip's accessing the URL, then you can get their info with a few more steps. Since the person skyped you, the odds that they were effectively hiding their identity is quite low.

You did well though, it's what I tell my clients to say..."tell em' to f*** off", block > delete.

To claim the bounty go here:
http://bitcoinbountyhunter.com/faqs.html
Report what you have and if your information leads to a conviction I am sure the bounty willbe paid.
Roger is very busy with other projects now but if it's your info that catches the guy then he will pay, he would not ruin his reputation.

Please DON'T post the dox here.
I don't want someones info here before the right aurthorities get it or it may ruin your chances of collecting the bounty.

Good luck and i hope your information is helpful, thanks for letting us know.

Regards: bitkilo.
