Hello from Portland Oregon USA!

Can I please get an invite? Even though I have a new account here, I am mining at ~37-39 TH/s via three S9s.

I would love to contribute and would like to know what kind of feedback you're looking for.
I just emailed you an invite.
Thanks!

Is it still possible to get an invite? I'm no big miner, but I'd want one to play around a bit :)

We are still in private beta, but I just sent you an invite.
The good news is that we are operating with a 0% fee as well, so you will likely earn more from our pool than any other.

I’m here to help fix any bugs you encounter.

Thanks so much for helping out!

Hello all,

I just got my new miner and I'm in the process of setting it up. It looks like the US East Coast stratum server is down at the moment: stratum+tcp://east.us.pool.bitcoin.com:3333 Can anyone confirm or disprove that, please? Shall I switch to the West Coast server in the meantime?

This: topic11884.html#p35254 + Bitcoin.com mining pool = BTC

Or if you have additional funds available, pick-up something a bit more heavy-duty from Bitmain :)

We had some problems with the east coast server a few days ago. In case it goes down, it should redirect all miners to the west coast server. If you have any problems, just email pool@bitcoin.com for support.

We just emailed you the invite earlier tonight, and thanks to your hash rate, and all the other people helping us test, we now have over 40 Peta hashes, or more than 2% of the global network! People switching to us from other pools are reporting being paid as much as 8.5% more bitcoin thanks to our current 0% fee during our testing phase.

After you have a couple day's worth of data, we would love to hear how our pool compares to your previous pool as well.

Thanks for helping!

With the influx of some new users over the last few days we ran into some bugs with the number of active workers shown, and the payouts. We are working to fix these bugs and send out this mornings payouts ASAP. Please follow this thread for additional updates.

What is the payout difference between PPS and PPLS on bitcoin.com and how many blocks are needed to make variance negligible?

Since we are charging 0% fee for both, in the long run, they should pay out the same.
If you want consistent payouts each day, you should chose PPS. If you want to float with the luck of the pool, PPLNS is for you.

Nice, thanks for the invite!

While adding my miners to the pool I noticed there's an option to separate out workers like the old B T C Guild pool, but I don't see any instructions on how to add workers (change in Username or Password in the miner settings maybe?), the workers page just lists by account username.

Could you let us know how to do it here and add it to the pool FAQ?

Great suggestion!
We will add this to the FAQ and make it clearer.
If your user name is jedimst, you would just tell your miners to connect using the user names like this:
jedimst.01
jedimst.02
jedimst.03
jedimst.whateveryouwanttousetokeeptrackofyourminers

Thanks Roger!

Another suggestion: How about adding Slack as an option for pool and worker outtage notifications in addition to the current email option?
I've come to rely on Slack these days as my notification and corporate messaging platform of choice and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

Also, is the pool currently running Bitcoin Unlimited across the board or just a portion?

100% of the pool is running on Bitcoin Unlimited.

We will see about adding Slack notifications in the coming weeks.

Thanks for the suggestions!
