According to the Center for Public Integrity, there are at least 20 candidates who have been requesting or received cryptocurrencies for their campaigns. Three candidates out of these were contesting from a state which has banned cryptocurrency funding.

Blockchain-based elections would be cool and anyway useful for blockchain/cryptocurrency development. After its implemention in some kind of banana republic sly-ass wanna-be dictator will find a way how to hack blockchain

Yes, cryptocurrency is slowly being introduced in different states and in their financial systems, but how will this be reflected on us, who knows?
