Hey Neun,

For example if you're looking at a transaction on the Bitcoin.com block explorer if you click/tap on View details under Summary it should return data including:

- Fees
- Fees per byte
- Size (in bytes) of transaction

Image

The fee is based on transaction size in bytes and network congestion and is paid to the miners to included the transactions in a block.

The more inputs a transaction has the higher the fee will be.

If you do not set an adequate fee your transaction might not confirm. If it does not confirm within 14 days the transaction will drop from the mempool and return to your wallet (the address sent from).

To learn more about transaction fees please see: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees

There is some information in regard to predicting fees at https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/

Not sure if my answer above is what you are looking for.

If you're running a Bitcoin Core node you can get transaction data in the console.

Type in:

Code: Select all

> getrawtransaction [type transaction ID here between the brackets]
That will return the raw transaction.

Decode using:

Code: Select all

> decoderawtransaction hex
