Bitcoin wallet transaction issues.

Tue May 05, 2020 11:30 pm

I sent BCH to an address from coin payments .net for a payment to a company and the funds went through that address to another. They say they have no proof of anything. Can someone explain to me what has happened?

Hi Cobbwow,

Has this is issue been resolved?

I sometimes use coinpayments.net to pay invoices. They seem to be a reputable company (the only other real competitor I can think of is Bitpay).

Did you accidentally send BCH to a BTC address (or vice versa)? If so, you should let coinpayments.net know.

Please keep in mind the legacy addresses and cashsaddr addresses (Cash Address) look like two different addresses but in truth are in the same address (just encoded differently).
