Are digital currencies ready for mass adoption?

Fri Apr 19, 2019 7:33 am

With the rise of digital currency phenomenon, many big companies, such as Microsoft and Samsung are investing in crypto and features that will support it. But i’m thinking, how will central banks deal with virtual currencies becoming more and more popular and is the whole fuss maybe more about the blockchain technology than crypto itself? What do you guys think?

digital currencies is ready for mass adoption as long as the designated blockchain system is able to endure. considering that we are talking about cryptocurrency there must be some kind of problem in the privacy and anonimity sector however VEIL is able to deliver us the power of cryptocurrency by providing anonimity and privacy, you can search VEIL on CMC or google it has promising future and also already listed on exchanges.

VEIL is also a project that has no ICO, IEO or premine but it is still stand strong and keep on striving to be a prominent privacy based currency and im pretty sure that VEIL's future will be really promising.

A huge variety in crypto coins makes it very difficult to make some kind of strategic decision

In my opinion, the potential of digital currencies has not been expoilted to the fullest possible levels. Owing to privacy issues and matters of instability associated with them, they are not yet ready for adoption. I hope the investment by big companies in Blockchain technology will make them more usable

Digital cryptocurrency is ready for that but it looks like we have a lot of problems with the privacy that argued by satoshi to become one of the main features in the blockchain.
We must put this at the top of the problem in the blockchain system. All of the platforms must put privacy as their priority before they can do mass adoption. They can learn from veil and how it was building a fully zero protocol coin that used the best technology and consensus at this time. It's a good coin to learn about privacy.

Mass adoption is very important but crypto must prepare itself before that.

I think the security problems should be solved first.

For a fact, it does pose a thread to fiat money and to banks. However, I think the inevitable is just being delayed. Once we found a way to make crypto 100% secure and viable for the future, it will go wide and the world will accept it as primary money.

Sure they are. In my opinion, we are already gathering momentum and adoption is slowly creeping into the space. I believe the more we revolutionise, the more adoption we I'll get in this space. We have gone from Btc to eth, to EOS and now privacelcy coins like Monero, Veil are popular. I perceive more adoption in the next few years.

There has been much talk about the ‘potential’ for cryptocurrencies and how they could be used by adopting blockchain into actual real-word utilities so that the masses can use them. The real question should be is are the general public ready to adapt this technology and use it at mass scale? My honest answer for both is not yet, but they will be. Until the issue of blockchain privacy is tackled and the issue of security is checked then no. this why privacy coins like monero, veil, etc should be adopted to solve these problems.

Where I come from, Digital currency is on a wide adoption. On daily basis, the acception and adoption increases. But the key thing to note is this: Digital currency is doomed where there isn't privacy. This is because, privacy is a necessity to the crypto space. I must comment on the efforts of projects such as Veil coin, Dash and Monero, bringing privacy to limelight in blockchain technology.

I actually do believe that blockchain technology itself is of more importance to the human race that cryptocurrencies. However, we'll find a way to incorporate cryptocurrencies into the world economy at some point in the future. However, the true question is, "Will professional organizations be able to cope with the coins like Veil and Monero that are actually privacy inclined? ".

I think yes, digital currencies are ready now. Everyone needs the safest way to transact. Nothing more is safer than the digital currencies and it also eliminates the third party involvement saving the money as well.

Ofcos. Digital currencies are ready for mass adoption and acceptance. Although this has been effective and implemented in some few countries. And with the advancements of privacy coins on blockchain, will hike more adoption of blockchain technology through crypto currency. By this time, projects like Veil and monero (privacy coins) would rule.

Sure they are... Believe me when I say, we are in the earliest adoption of CRYPTOCURRENCY. Most adoptions to come in. Sooner than later, we will have a fully grown privacy on blockchain technology. All thanks to brain behind the innovation of privacy on blockchain technology. Top Privacy projects such as Veil and Monero cannot but be mentioned.

I really dont think that cryptos are ready to be massively used and adopt. First issue is that there is not enough number of coins to cover the mass demand. If accepted in this point, the price would have to go significantly up, which is not really realistic at this point of time
