Because litecoin is too expensive for a lot of medium or even small investors. This time litecoin is worth almost $100 dollars and that's too expensive for everyone. We are looking for an alternative way to get a decent profit like investing in veil too. It's a promising privacy coin right now dude.

What the initial post suggests might be somewhat contradictory. Keeping money and making profits couldn't be more different within the cryptosphere. There are different stable coins that could act as a long term store of value. But making profits for someone who doesn't trade regularly should involve hodling some of the most popular cryptocurrencies and hope for a bull run.

However, I agree with you in a way about Veil and privacy coins in general in the sense that they enable you to store funds away from prying eyes due to the advanced privacy features.
