yesterday we released Birds officially to the masses, and so far, it's
been going well.

First day we had over 700 transactions. Users have earned a total of
0.1287 BTC (but 0.0262 was wasted in transaction fees).
People seems positive:

We will assess later if the transaction fees (with high speed) are worth
it, or if we should consider slower and cheaper payouts. 190 people in
total have signed up for the service so far.

Messages from Birds have reached people at least 607,538 times with
156,487 unique followers. And this is just the first day.

Indeed, impressive!

In another post I mentioned that Bitcoin Unlimited is working on anti-DOS protection that will help protect against transaction floods from the attackers. Then we can have free transactions once again which will help feed ze birds and many other companies.

Without very cheap transactions, this service isn't possible.
Hopefully we can continue to have cheap enough transactions to make this service available using Bitcoin and not something else in the future.

All great suggestions Roger. Since you are reaching for the stars, might I add if I were to add a wish list item you said the order should be ranked by remaining funds. I would say if there could be a sorted column where that is maybe the default, but could also be sorted by date (newest to oldest, vice versa), and maybe the most popular (most funds earned or number of RT's) would be cool too. I'll try to think of other improvements but so far it's really good. I think the most important thing is knowing how much I've earned and how much I anticipate to earn, and the engagement of each tweet (impressions, etc).

Just replace my username with yours if you're signed in. Maybe a simple link to this page on Birds would be helpful. The page should just replace the username automatically.

Ok Roger, I have an improvement request. For tweets I've already RT'd, I don't want to see them on the list anymore. I can't RT again, so it's there taking up space for no apparent reason.

Hey Roger, is Birds broken? I sent a tweet and funded it earlier, and it's not showing on the list for anyone to RT.

And on birds.bitcoin.com it doesn't show, when I'm logged in or not logged in, it doesn't appear.

We had some other urgent things we had to work on, but have a lot of updates for birds that are almost ready to push to the live site.
