Mon Apr 04, 2016 9:12 pm

OpenBazaar is Open !!!

"Starting today, anyone in the world with access to an Internet connection can use Bitcoin and OpenBazaar to exchange goods and services FREELY."
Unlike the online marketplace giants Alibaba, Amazon, or eBay, this new model of online commerce isn’t controlled by any company or organization. OpenBazaar is a fully peer-to-peer marketplace where buyers and sellers engage in trade directly with each other.

I digged this article form CCN :

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bye-bye ... -coinmart/

Needless to mention that OpenBazaar is the only decentralized model now operating the in e-commerce space. It is a total new approach to trade and we have to give it some time to grow and shape up according to the needs of its users. Or Users will eventually get the know how to use it. Look at Silk road. It generated 2 Billion dollars in turn over , and it was a total new manner of customer interaction. Because the product/service provided was valuable to both merchants and clients, both parties had to engage in investigating the know-how of the system. Yes OB missed the point of 'user friendly', but with a proper marketing and customer retention plans, they can succeed beyond anyone's expectation.

I think this shouldn't have been released on the main net this early, especially without throughout testing and feedback from a wide range of beta testers.

The lack of basic ecommerce features like product categories and filtering makes it very inconvenient as well.

I hope this release won't turn off too many people permanently.
