Bitcoin to be used a world currency?

Tue Feb 27, 2018 11:29 pm

For a long time now the political elite and the leaders of the Vatican have been looking for a world government and currency, I believe that bit coin will be used for this.

I have purchased a great amount of coins in the ICO, waiting for the Lending platform, hope that everything will run smoothly.

The Vatican is nothing outside of Catholicism and the influence of the press on the weak-minded. They count for nothing.

The Political Elite are pawns and have been building this empire on behalf of the financiers for many, many years.

Banks. Tax. Politicians. War. It's all part of the recipe.

The world is far bigger than you currently understand.

I think it'll continue to be used as an asset. It's not suitable for paying for goods and services. It's way to expensive.

Agree. I do believe that bitcoin is a part of financial future and great way to become an investor, but I have doubts that it can possibly replace traditional money or become world currency.

Can you clarify in what way you think bitcoin is "way too expensive"? Do you mean acquiring bitcoin or spending bitcoin? My personal experience using bitcoin has been very fluid. Admittedly, there was a time last year that fees were increasing, but the upgrades Bitcoin Cash brought have eliminated that headache. Now, as per the original Satoshi plan, we have plenty of space for transactions and they're confirming with super-low fees.

Bitcoin is very safe and stable although unlike most currencies there is no government rules are applicable. Without any bank transaction, you can do quick & cheap online payment through bitcoins. So no wonder if bitcoins will be used as a world currency in nearby future.

It is a highly debatable question.

A part of the population will deny due to its highly volatile nature. You purchased a product of value $10k with 1 BTC today but after a few days the price of BTC dips and you have to pay more than 1 BTC. This is quite unacceptable by the society.

A part of the population will agree as bitcoin is already accepted as payment at certain online and offline sellers. It is a legal tender in Japan.

The primary aim of “Satoshi Nakamoto” for inventing bitcoin was to replace the traditional centralized currency with new digital decentralized currency.
At present, due to its fluctuating price and volatility, it is used more as an asset for trading rather than currency in exchange of products or services.

For bitcoin to be used as world currency, it should have a more stable form and recognition from all the governments of the world. Then and only then, bitcoin can be used as a world currency.

Loads of exchanges are trying to get Fiat pairings (QASH, Binance, even some DEXs!)
Adoption is just going up
Everyone knows about Bitcoin now - It's now about making them use it
Cryptocurrency isn't going anywhere, because projects like Stellar, Monero and VeChain are just too useful
Everyone is rushing to get merchant adoption for crypto, see Coinbase, BitcoinPay and more
Stores are beginning to accept it everywhere (just paid with BTC yesterday!)
I'm repeating all my points but I don't care
An absolute insane number of projects are going on with genuine development
Math, Computer Science and cryptography students are putting in tons of new work every single day (has there ever been such a revolution??)
The future is now!!
Information give from this
article.
Thanks!

I think right political spectrum wont agree that. Also in the recent few elections we can see that right political wing gained power in major countries of the world. Though those who are supporting globalization will definitely want so. But wouldn't that mean that our history and culture will loose ground in politics.

I think it would be too far out at this point in time. Lots of factors to consider and until we see countries doing efforts to independently legislate policies that will regulate cryptocurrencies in their own jurisdiction, then the thought of it becoming a sole currency would be far fetched.

Yes, they can not even settle just yet, and without control from the states, no one will make bitcoins world currency officially

I completely agree with you. At current time btc cannot replace physical money at all and become a world currency. But maybe in future things will change.

In many countries bitcoin is recognized as a digital asset, sooner or later the crypto currency will become denser in people's lives and at the state level

I agree. I don't think we are ready for bitcoin or in fact any cryptocurrency to become a world wide payment method. But then again I think this could happen in the future. Not because countries come to an agreement but because people all over might be using technologies for services and products and as we see today, these are increasingly payable with bitcoin. Quite some potential there.

I understand that it is good to be optimistic. The question remains whether bitcoin is yet to be regarded as a currency. Is bitcoin a currency? I think that when the whole accepts bitcoin as a currency like Fiat money, then this is possible.

I completely agree with discussion, it is too expensive and can only be used as an asset, at least for now, just invest in cryptos and leave the rest of the worries for the future as bitcoin is not going to replace currency notes anytime soon. Though the ICOs are a great way for people like me who do not have the fortune to acquire bitcoins, however, I think by investing in legit ICOs, someday I will have. Have you heard about gigtricks? I heard they are offering 75% discount. I wonder if they are legit or not

I totally agree with this discussion. But, now some countries ban cryptocurrency so it is not used a world currency. Maybe it would be possible in future.

After a while it will probably be used as a world currency either, but now it's very unstable and some countries even refuse from it.

It is my believe that Cryptocurrency is the future of all finacial transactions. It likes like a foolish believe but people didn't believe in Cryptocurrency when Bitcoin was launched in 2009. It will take some time but it will occur eventually.

It is not feaseable enough to make cryptocurrency a real life currency. There are a lot of complications in it. The biggest hurdle is to implement it in remote areas. You have to first educate the people and then provide them with internet facilities to help make the transactions.
